Why Is It Possible For A Person To Make Atp If Their Diet Is Insufficient In Carbohydrates?

Please explain it to me!

    because it’s all about the glucose. . .
    first step to aerobic respiration is glycolosis (break down of sugar). . . aerobic respiration is how we mass produce ATP

    Lipids in the form of triglycerides actually give more molar ATP than sugars. Cells can get ATP from these via lipolysis.
    Gluconeogenesis can also be used to synthesize glucose from amino acids and lipids. Your brain does this in the absence of glucose, as glucose is the only thing that it can metabolize.
